LCRA will reopen lakes Travis, Marble Falls, Inks and LBJ to recreational boating at noon on Friday, June 10. Flows throughout the Highland Lakes remain strong, and anyone boating or swimming should use caution and be on the lookout for debris and submerged objects. Flood management operations continue at all dams on the Highland Lakes. Water continues to flow over the spillway at Inks Dam, which has no floodgates. For more information, visit LCRA's Flood Operations Report. Bacteria levels in the lakes are higher than normal after recent flooding rains. LCRA's water recreation and safety page has more information on safety on the lakes.
